You're to young to have a Baby!!!!!!

NBC recently aired a reality show called the, Baby Borrowers. This show was based on teens that felt they were ready to have a baby and start a family. Each teen went through weeks of caring for infants, toodlers, pre-teens, teens and elderly all on their own, some teens made it and some didn't. The thing I liked the most was the end of this process when the teens realized they wasn't ready and each couple broke up, went their separate ways and realized there was more out there in life. Now my question to you is, How do you feel about teen pregnancy? With so much peer pressure in the media and in our schools, I would like to know how SPG feel on this subject.....

The irony of today's society is that it takes just love and attention to raise a child. There is much more to it that just that. There is knowledge, wisdom, understanding, sensitivity, a sense of responsibility and a great deal of maturity. Most, if not all, is often neglected at an early age, and becomes the detrimental item in child rearing.

Teen pregnancy? Let's see...I was almost a victim to this. It's not cute to not know at 15 whether or not you are about to become a mother to a child you have no clue on how raise. Thank God for His grace; but what I learned throughout my High school years was I was lacking and desperate for a lot of attention from the wrong people. People that did not want me, but wanted my body for their foul play. Wow! To think, I, God's temple, was not worth more than I valued it at. I needed serious help and if I knew then what I know now I would have lived my teenage years much differently...serving God, FOR REAL!!!!!!!!

yea like everyone else said teen pregnacy is not good cuz you still have your whole life in front of you..and you still have your goals and dreams to pursue but you cant follow them cuz you went out in the world and found a no good so called boyfriend who probably forced you or talked his way in having a baby with him..most likely he gone leave you for another girl..then you are going to have to drop out of school..find a crappy job that you dont like jus to support you and dat child you chose to have.

I also can relate from a "used to be in the world" point of view. There is nothing scarier than being a teenager and wondering if you are pregnant and worse how are you gonna tell ur parents. Teens get so caught up in being accepted that they put aside their own feelings and beliefs to go with the crowd or the trend. Unfortunately one of the latest trends is teen pregnancy. A lot of teens seriously don't think it can happen to them, til that test reads +. Then afterwards they want to blame everyone else including the baby. I think it's time to start taking responsibility for actions and realizing (and accepting) that actions do have consequences. Consequences that one might not be ready to handle. So it's important to stop putting ourselves into situations that might have good results (ex. a pregnancy). Sin doesn't start after you've become pregnant, it's acting on an improper thought.

Teen Pregnancy is an issue that young adults have had for a very long period of time. Every year the stats seem to get worse, especially concerning african american females. Raising a child takes maturity, understanding and alot of responsibility. But for every action there is a reaction. Yes, we all know that teen pregnancy should be prevented but there are some females out there who have no knowledge of the stats and most of all the consequences for their actions. For young females who have no children, thats great! Always wait until Gods perfect timing. But for those who may have kids already and may be pregnant...Remember your child is not a mistake...because Satan cannot give Life.

That's right girl, Satan cannot give life. As we discourage teens from having children, we must also encourage and support the ones that do.
